Third Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) Class

Join the Fairfield Glade Fire Department EMS Team

The Fairfield Glade Fire Department is accepting applications for its Third Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) Class.

As our EMS Division continues to grow, we’re looking for more dedicated volunteers who want to make a real difference in our community.

Emergency Medical Responders provide immediate medical care during emergencies while working alongside Cumberland County EMS. By arriving quickly and providing early patient care, EMRs help improve patient outcomes when every minute counts.

Retired healthcare professionals, firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, military medics, and other public safety professionals are especially encouraged to apply.

The Fairfield Glade Fire Department will provide training, equipment, and support necessary to help you succeed as an Emergency Medical Responder. Participation in the EMR Program does not require becoming a firefighter.
