It's Very Humbling to be Appreciated

I've said it before, and I can't say it enough. First Responders love what they do. But we can't deny, that its heartwarming when someone goes above and beyond to express thanks.
One such event happened on Friday July 10th.
Fairfield Glade resident, Jack Cahoun, has health issues. The both EMS and fire have been called multiple times to Jack's house to assist. On July 10th, Jack's wife Collette, brought sandwiches, chips, coleslaw and a sheet cake to the FGFD Station 1 to say thanks to EMS and FGFD personnel who had helped her and Jack so many times. We love what we do, and do it gladly, but it's always appreciated to get recognition. Thank you Jack and Colette for your thoughtfulness.
